Comments: We have had many good meals here. The service is almost always very friendly and the managers are friendly. Some staff member, if not several, say hi as soon as you walk in and also goodbye as you leave. My ahi was quite satisfactory and my side salad with oriental vinaigrette was fine. My table mates had the other dishes and all were satisfied. Good fries too. Plenty service, often refilled water. Cleared as soon as we were done but not before.

Comments: The manager is very pushy and staff seem to be afraid or following his lead. Food was disgusting. Beer was so-so. Saw cockaroaches running on the bar and bartender kill them with her hand. Did not wash hand, just went back to pouring drinks. Disgusting. Avoid this place

Comments: after reading a few posted reviews, i'll have to admit i was a bit hesitant,we found it to be very pleasant. So much so i was suprised, in fact i have often used such sites to direct me, NO LONGER. The service was great,causal and clean, cktl came quickly, soup was excellent.reading about the burgers, i chose the t-bone ,proved to be another excellent choice, so i finish with an ice cream pie thing that , of course was'nt dissapointing...so i guess my message is , an old one,"don't belive everthing you see, or possiblie in this case, you read..happy eating

Dishes: Jalapeno Coconut Ribs

Comments: Food is not consistent. Sometimes the ribs are delicious, other times way too spicy. Same with the wings. Same with the cocktails. I have also been here 50 plus times, continue to go for lack of available places to eat in Hilo. The idea with the burgers are great in theory, but sometimes it does taste not fresh.

Comments: Agree with the first poster. Burgers were terrible. Definitely not beef. Gross. Beer was average. No happy hour, no atmosphere. Better off going to McDonalds.

Comments: Burger texture is weird, same old bland menu, menu never changes. Typical beers on tap. I have been here 50 plus times. My friend is a bartender there. I only go to wet my noodle. Better burgers at Pahoa Village Cafe in Pahoa. Cronies caters to the tourist/cruise ship crowd. Next time you get a burger, feel the texture in your mouth...know what that is, mushy, no beef flavor?? Thats called freezer burn, bulk purchase, NOT FRESHLY made meat...

Comments: Best place in Hilo for a burger thier GREAT. Beer on tap great selection. Went twice during our visit everyone should go when visiting Hilo.
