Comments: I quite like this place if for no other reason than that it makes a nice change from all the other Thai etc. places we go to all the time. I wouldn't say that the food is exceptional but it is tasty and they use a lot of fresh ingredients, which I like a lot. The pesto is a little strange IMHO.
Oh, and the reviewer who thinks this is like being in Italy has a much better imagination than I do...

Comments: Cafe Concerto is the best and really only Italian Restaurant in Hilo Hawaii. It is great that they are now open for dinner Tues.through Saturday nights from 5:30-9:00. The ombiance is exceptional and i really felt that I was in Italy. The food was to die for and I would go back in a minute. I can't wait to come back and visit Hawaii again so that I can go to this wonderful, fabulous restaurant.

Dishes: Penne with Pesto, Ravioli, Spaghetti with Meatballs, etc.
Comments: A real hole in the wall that is amazing! The Penne with Pesto is a real hit with our family. The ravioli I ordered was made with fresh pasta. The service is always friendly and great. The only thing I would love to see is a bigger menu, but you can't go wrong with what is already on there.
